Biography
Ulku Anik was born in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1973. She has received her Ph.D. degree in Analytical Chemistry in Ege University, Bornova, İzmir-Turkey in 2003. She is currently a full professor at the Department of Chemistry, Mugla Sıtkı Kocman University, Mugla, Turkey. Her research interests are nanomaterial based electrochemical/bioelectrochemical systems,electrochemical sensors and biosensors, centri-voltammetry/biocentri-voltammetry, biofuel cells and electroanalytical chemistry. She has recently focused on developing electronano diagnostic platforms for detection of important diseases like influenza and cancer. Up to now, she has published more than 60 papers and directed many projects. She has also visited many labs all around the world and have collaborations with many important research groups.
Research Interest
Nanomaterial based electrochemical/bioelectrochemical systems,electrochemical sensors and biosensors, centri-voltammetry/biocentri-voltammetry, biofuel cells and development of electronano diagnostic platforms.
